Revising my plan

Since this blog is still in its infancy and with out many followers, I have decided to fill content with something I do a lot of, Reading.
Back in November I signed up for a contest to win a box full of free book from several relatively unknown authors. Unfortunately, I didn't win the box. Instead, I started to receive tons of emails from the authors of the books  in the box. Several were author newsletters. Some contained special discounts on their books on Amazon. The remainder of the emails were free books. So I figured, why not, and spent a couple hours going through all the emails I had received for the last month and downloaded all the free books offered.
For the foreseeable future, I am going to read all these books and review them. Hopefully, this will bring new follows to these indy writers and get me enough site traffic to start my "truth or dare me" segment. Because I need people to actually accomplish that.

It's Snowing!

Hello All! Currently at work and it is SNOWING. Its the first major snowfall we've had here in Southern Connecticut and its majorly exciting. Except the fact that I am at work and had to drive here in 8 inches of poorly plowed powder. Yey for going 20 mph on the highway!


Update on the resolution: procrastination is real. Meant to write here more, but there was a Criminal Minds marathon on TV and suddenly it was 2 A.M. Posted on Twitter though, that's an accomplishment since I am a ghost on Facebook in real life.


Annnyyyyways. Moving on to SHOUT OUTS!


My very first shout out goes to my girl, LyricalKris! I just finished reading her latest completed story on Fanfiction.net called Playing Cops and Vloggers (yes that's a link, click it. Read it, Love it.) Love love LOOOOVE this story. This little novella is 20 chapters of adorkableness that makes me want to be more nerdy. And to vlog. And to drink coffee. And to catch myself an OfficerWard. While I am singing the praises of this single story, you really can't go wrong with anything Kris writes since her writing is so diverse that her bookshelf has something for everyone. 2017!

Hello Interweb! Happy 2017!


For New Years, I made a resolution to do "more". Write more, travel more, connect... more. This blog is my attempt to achieve my "more".


I want to write more in 2017, by blogging about what I've read or watched recently. Hopefully, this sparks my creative juices and inspiring me write more in general.
I want to travel more to satisfy my oikofugic nature. (oikofugic : characterized by the desire to travel, migrate, or play truant). When Wanderlust is in the title, oikofugic in the text, and shenanigans in the heart; you know that life will be experienced to its fullest.
I want to connect more with people in my life by giving Shout Outs to people. Just to say Hi to people I've fallen out of contact with or even to recognize someone who has done something awesome.


My plan for this blog is to utilize the classic "who, what, where, when, and why" technique. Who am I recognizing, what am I reading/watching, where am I going, when in history did something cool happen, and why. Why stands by itself because I want that section to be interactive. I call it Truth or Dare Me. This will most likely be a YouTube video section, just for fun.
